Calling all ghosts and goblins, pirates and princesses, minions and monsters! The Oneonta Community Halloween Parade is almost here! On Thursday, October 31st, students, floats, local school bands and other marchers should gather on Elm St. at 5 pm. The parade begins at 6 pm and proceeds down Main St. to the Chestnut St. Extension and then to the Foothills Performing Arts Center Atrium where donuts and cider will be served by members of the Lions Club. Prizes will be awarded to students for best float and best costumes. The parade is brought to you by the Oneonta Rotary Club with the Parade Team representing The Daily Star, Destination Oneonta, Hill City Celebrations and the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce.
