Oneonta Rotary's Wine Tasting on February 15 was a windy, wild success raising $500 for the work of the Oneonta Rotary Club.
This year‘s wine tasting was a windy, wild success! Two dozen participants braved the blustery winter storm on Saturday evening to spend a few hours at Social Eats Café – Project 607 enjoying delicious wines with amuse bouche pairings. As an added treat and for the first time in this event’s history, we were able to purchase bottles of the wines from the event at the conclusion of the evening!Despite the stormy exterior, we were warm and cozy inside the café, enjoying delicious food, fabulous wines, and outstanding conversation! Michelle Ianelli–Rubin and Chef Eduardo went out of their way to make this an extraordinary experience. We hope you can find a day to visit Social Eats Café for lunch. They have something special over there!
Over $500 was raised for Oneonta Rotary club through this year’s wine tasting. Thank you to Marie Lusins and Al Rubin serving as our emcees for the evening. They took turns sharing details about the wine and food pairings, and their rapport was wonderful.
