Oneonta Rotary inducted five new members in the month of January.
Oneonta Rotary was thrilled to welcome five new members to the club in the month of January! On January 8, the club welcomed three new members: Laurel Bongiorno, Ph.D, Gary Laing, and Jocelyn Plows. Laurel is currently the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Provost at Hartwick College. She has been selected as the next Hartwick College president and assumes those duties on July 1. Gary, owner and President of the Oneonta Outlaws, is well known for his commitment to our community and has been a major supporter of the club’s Road Rally Fundraiser. Jocelyn, Business Engagement Specialist, is a champion for the students of Oneonta Job Corps Academy working to build mutually beneficial relationships between Job Corps and the community. On January 29th, Oneonta Rotary welcomed Michael Chandler (Chandler) and Sun Munson. Chandler is the Assistant Manager for the Hampton Inn in Oneonta and Sue is retired and is a community volunteer. Congratulations to all!
