Weekly Speaker, Shelby, MacLeish, OCCA
On March 7th, club members had the opportunity to hear from Shelby MacLeish, Assistant Director of the Otsego County Conservation Association (OCCA). OCCA was founded in 1968 and is the only county wide organization that is involved with anything that needs to be worked on in Otsego County. Its purpose is connecting people with their place; promoting the appreciation for and sustainable use of our region's resources. OCCA has the following major goals: education, outreach and events, and conservation. OCCA hopes to build the next generation of land stewards by connecting people to their place and to the county through the programs offered.  (Photo: Rotarian Carlton Cleveland with Shelby MacLeish)d
