We had a great day of fundraising in Neahwa Park today and we had a really good time talking to literally hundreds of people. We had a fabulous crew!!!!! A big thank you to everyone who volunteered today!! I am happy to say we sold over $1,000 of raffle tickets in 4 hours. We had to stop at the four hour mark because we were sold out of tickets. Our pre-sales totaled $475 and we have several hundreds of dollars still outstanding because a number of Rotarians took raffle tickets to sell on their own. So as of today - less expenses and without the additional monies coming in on this Thursday - we are $1,400 in the black. When we add in donations I believe we will be in the $2,000 range. A very successful fundraising effort! Close to 200 kids are going to be enjoying new, warm coats because of the generosity and dedication Oneonta Rotarians. It doesn’t get much better than that. Congratulations on another job well done!!
